Biography:

Roberto has been working in the environmental industry since 2008. He has plenty of practical and professional experience in bushland rehabilitation, which has given him a solid foundation and understanding of our natural ecological systems, and also in the practical aspects of project management and implementation. Roberto is now a team member of the Australian Herbicide Resistance Initiative where his research focuses on understanding the evolutionary (resistance selection) effects of current weed control management techniques used in cropping and identifying what is required to keep them effective; and also, crop competition as a means to suppress weed growth and seed production by studying multi factorial combinations of effective cultural practices across different rainfall zones of the western GRDC region.
